Aoife Conneely is a Director of our Aviation non-ABS team and heads up the Shannon based team. Aoife joined Canyon CTS in June 2022. 

Aoife has nearly a decade’s worth of aviation experience successfully across various aircraft funds, leasing platforms and in the aviation space.  Aoife shows exceptional organization, communication and analytical skills, which are complimented with a passion for building relationships within the team and with stakeholders. Aoife’s role sees her working directly with asset managers, investors, bankers, lawyers and directly with client teams. 

Previously, Aoife held roles within the Global Aviation team in Investec Bank Plc including Financial Controller of aircraft leasing platforms and funds across various jurisdictions, Aviation Operation Specialist and holding AOE/SPV Board Directorships.  

Aoife’s aviation experience includes:

• Board Directorships of Irish and Cayman subsidiaries of Aviation Equity Funds and Structured Finance transactions including as Chairperson for various aviation deals. 
• Financial Controller and Servicer who assisted in successfully establishing, growing and exiting three aviation equity leasing platforms on behalf of the third-party investors.
• Oversees several teams who manage various aviation and property management engagements including warehouse facilities, single entity and consolidated AOE structures. 

Aoife is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has an Honours Bachelor of Business Studies in Accounting from the University of Limerick.

Aoife’s native language is English but also speaks basic French and Irish.
