David joined Vistra as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in June 2018.  He has over 20 years of professional experience, primarily in the financial services industry, and is responsible for developing the overall People strategy and driving execution across the company’s diverse locations globally. With leadership accountability for the full range of HR activities, he works with the senior management team to fully engage Vistra’s key resource, its people, to deliver on the business strategy and operational plans.

His prior experience includes Global and Regional HR roles in both UBS and JP Morgan where he managed People related activities including Organizational Change, Leadership & Management Development, Talent Management, Recruiting, Business Partnering and HR General Management. He has also held senior Legal and Compliance roles in DBS Bank and has a strong understanding of the regulated financial services industry.

Before joining Vistra, David led the HR function for multinational companies in both the Healthcare and Shipping & Logistics industries where he successfully implemented organizational transformation and introduced HR Technology systems. He has also lead the Asia Pacific HR technology consulting practice for a global technology company.

Having worked in variety of locations including London, Zurich and Singapore, as well as across a range of industries, David brings a diverse set of perspectives, knowledge and expertise in leading HR practices across multiple discipline areas.

David graduated with Honors from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science.
