Derek Kemp joined Vistra as the Regional Managing Director of the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands, and the Middle East in October 2019. He is currently Vistra’s Chief Operating, Transformation & Risk Officer.

Derek has held a range of international senior management roles in his 30+ years in the technology consulting industry across Europe, APAC and the Middle East. He joined Vistra from Capgemini where he held a number of senior leadership roles. Most recently at Capgemini, he was Executive Vice President of EMEA/APAC Business Services, while concurrently serving as Global Sales Officer, where he led businesses across a wide range of service lines and industry verticals and successfully led the integration of a number of different business units, contributing to material sales growth.

With extensive experience in working in complex organisations, he has a track record in business development and building high-performance teams. Teams led by Derek have played a pivotal role in value creation at Patni prior to its acquisition by IGATE, and subsequently at IGATE prior to its acquisition by Capgemini.

He holds a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from Robert Gordon University in Scotland.
