Hilton Hess joined Vistra in June 2020 as Chief Financial Officer, providing strategic leadership for the company’s finance function.

Hilton has extensive experience of leading finance functions across industries and continents. He has performed senior finance roles in South Africa, China and Europe, and was most recently the CFO for portfolio companies owned by the private equity company, BC Partners. Previously, he was also the Group CFO for Antelliq, Divisional CFO for Rentokil Initial, and held senior finance roles at Unilever over 15 years. He is passionate about managing and leading global teams to deliver value and accelerate growth for a business.

Hilton is a Fellow with The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds a BA in Commerce, Accounting and Finance with Honours from Stellenbosch University.
