Marcelo joined Vistra in May 2018 when the firm acquired Radius, a US-based international expansion services firm. In January 2019 Marcelo was appointed as Brazil Managing Director, International Expansion. Preceding this, he was the General Manager of Radius Brazil. He was responsible for guiding the Brazil Office to achieve its goal of becoming one of the Brazilian market leader in international expansion services. Marcelo is a recognized business leader and experienced business strategist with a lifelong passion for international business and successful local and global growth.

Before joining Radius, Marcelo capped his 14 year career with global professional services organisation, Arthur Andersen until 1998. As a Partner at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in the U.S. and Brazil, he led the Brazilian and Latin America Business Consulting Practice through the birth period, making it to growth with double-digit increases in revenue and profitability. After to this role, Marcelo was CEO of his own Business Consulting Company in Brazil where he headed the structuring of start-up operations to create a recognized national business consulting firm with more than 120 local and international clients.

During his business tenure, Marcelo was also a Board Member of Russel Bedford and Abacus Worldwide, both Business International Associations, leading the LatAm region.

A Brazilian citizen, Marcelo is a Master in Economics Science. Marcelo was educated in the Brazil and US. He is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Marcelo is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English with a good understanding of Spanish.
