Mr. Macksey is a Managing Director at Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA), an Asia focused private equity fund with over US$21 billion in fee paying assets under management. The firm specializes in private equity and real estate investments targeting growing businesses with enterprise values between US$500 million and US$2 billion. The firm has over 220 people, located in 10 local Asia and international offices, including Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Mumbai, New Delhi, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. Mr. Macksey joined BPEA in 2006 and has extensive experience in the education, business services and information and data analytics sectors, and currently serves on the boards of Vistra Group, Nord Anglia Education and SAI360.

Mr. Macksey holds a Bachelor in Economics and a Bachelor in Commerce from the University of Queensland, he is also a CFA Charterholder.
