Marcus is the Managing Director of Vistra Germany and is based in our Frankfurt office. His focus is on Corporate Clients and Alternative Investments.

Marcus is responsible for the business operations and strategic management of the Trust & Corporate Services in Germany. This includes dealing with the inflow of new business and business development. Marcus represents Vistra as primary contact for clients, leading international and local law, tax and audit firms.

Marcus also takes up Director positions on certain client structures, including the German division/branches of some large multi-national businesses and helps SMEs to establish or expand their businesses in Germany.

Prior to Vistra’s merger with Orangefield Group in 2016, Marcus was Co-Founder and Managing Director of Orangefield Germany, the German affiliate of Orangefield Group.

Before joining Orangefield in 2009, Marcus was Managing Director of a well-known privately held Trust Company in Germany. Marcus began his professional career in banking and investment management in 1995, before joining the Trust and Corporate Services industry in 2007.

He has over 10 years of experience in developing SME’s and managing legal entities involved in Real Estate & Private Equity investing. In total Marcus has been operating in the financial markets for nearly 20 years.

Marcus graduated from the University of Cologne with a degree in Business Economics and Finance (specialising in International Finance, Banking and Tax Law), and is a banker by profession. He is also a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Marcus is a native German speaker and is also fluent in English.
