Nico is heading the Governance, Risk, Compliance and Finance consultancy team based from our Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices. These services are offered to financial services professionals located in the Dubai International Financial Centre, Abu Dhabi Global Markets, United Arab Emirates and other GCC countries.

Nico is part of the Vistra family, since Vistra’s acquisition of Total Solutions Middle East Limited. Nico joined Total Solutions in 2008 and contributed in the development and expansion of its compliance consultancy business. Prior to moving to Dubai, Nico was head of compliance for Société Générale Private Banking Belgium and Bank J. Van Breda & Co, both based in Belgium.

Nico holds a Master of Law degree issued by KU Leuven Belgium. Nico also holds a European Master in Labour Sciences (UCL Belgium – University Toulouse1 France) and a Law Teaching Degree (KUL Belgium). He also completed several compliance and risk management professional qualifications issued by several organizations.

Nico’s native language is Dutch, but he is also fluent in English and French. Nico has a basic understanding of German and Spanish.
