Steven is Head of New Business in the Jersey office. He is responsible for all aspects of new business and takes an active role in the on-boarding of new clients, often assisting them in obtaining the correct advice to ensure that the structures put in place are appropriate for their specific circumstances.

He has over 22 years' experience in all aspects of the offshore financial services industry, dealing with international corporate, institutional investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Steven joined Abacus Financial Services Limited in 1996 following his graduation from Kingston University with an Honours Degree in Economics. He then went on to become a director of Guardian Trust Company, Garfield-Bennett Trust Company and was part of the management team at the Jersey Financial Services Commission during the period when the regulation of trust company business was being implemented.

He holds an Honours Degree in Geography and Economics, a Masters Degree in Finance and Accounting and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
