Tom leads the Vistra International Tax Advisory team globally. His team focusses on ensuring that Vistra’s clients remain fully compliant with the tax law in every jurisdiction in which they operate, reducing client’s tax risk while ensuring they benefit from the full range of tax benefits available. The team advises on and implements all aspects of corporate international and indirect taxes across multiple jurisdictions.

Tom’s focus is on tax operational compliance and efficiency across the entirety of multinational organisations’ internal and external supply chain, throughout the business lifecycle. 

Tom is a UK and Australian Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years International Tax Advisory experience across Europe & APAC – covering the full range of corporate tax technical issues and industries. Tom’s client portfolio has included large publicly held multinationals, privately owned groups and high-net-worth individuals.

Tom joined one of Vistra’s legacy organisations in January 2016 from a ‘Big-4’ accounting firm in APAC where he was a leader in a busy International Tax Advisory and Controversy team. He was responsible for providing practical, high-quality cross-border tax advice including permanent establishment, withholding tax planning, Transfer Pricing, the potential application of specific and general anti-avoidance provisions, R&D matters, tax-effective cross-border structuring and capital gains planning.
